Ive heard lots of badthings about the yfz front shock swap on a shee. Why would swapping the yfz a arms, shocks, and tie rods be a bad thing? Im just curious. I already have +2 banshee a arms and have my eye out for shocks.

Because there is a lot more math and science in suspension then most people know. I don't know it either so I'm not belittling you. But if the angles don't match, shit binds and breaks. Just do yourself the favor and buy proper suspension setup, it'll be a HUGE improvement.

YFZ450 lower a arm is about 1" ahead of upper. YFZ350 lower arm is about 1" behind upper. So even if you apply a Presidential Solution and cut the arm and add a spacer you're still 1" off. Not to mention center to center l/r and top/bottom. XYZ axis points.

What would be slick would be to copy the YZF450 R/X front end geo, but that takes major surgery.

I've got the shocks on a set of +3 lonestar arms. They ride damn nice, but are too long and it gets crazy bumpsteer at full droop. Doesn't go far enough to bind the ballpoints though.

I've had yfz450 shocks on +3 arms ment for those shocks and it team great. My brother has the whole conversion and it works but twitchy and shakes at high speed and he's looking to get rid of it years later
