bansheedemon Posted May 30, 2013 Report Share Posted May 30, 2013 Has anyone used or have any reviews of something like the moose double gasser throttle? they look nice but do they work well? i have a twist throttle and like it but i can see where having a thumb throttle would be nice too. Guy said he really liked it, if his thumb got tired he'd use it as a twist and vice-versa. Starwriter Posted May 30, 2013 Report Share Posted May 30, 2013 I have one and I like it a lot. I use it 80% thumb and 20% twist. It could be better, but it does work good. The thumb travel is a little slower than I like. In other words, from idle to wide open, you have to push it too far. The twist is very fast. The worst problem is that you can't pull the pin to unlock the twist while riding. I plan to fabricate a lever that you can flip with your index finger.
