VoOK Posted May 16, 2013 Report Posted May 16, 2013 Check the pick up gap, should be around .018 - .020 if im not mistaken. Quote

Starwriter Posted May 16, 2013 Report Posted May 16, 2013 Put the key in it and turn it on. If the key switch has been removed, connect the red/black wire to the black wire. Quote
bansheecaptain Posted May 16, 2013 Author Report Posted May 16, 2013 Key is on haha thanks. Checked red and black wire at cdi and its open circuit Quote
sheerider11 Posted May 16, 2013 Report Posted May 16, 2013 On off switch still attached? If so check there I've seen a few go bad Quote
bansheecaptain Posted May 16, 2013 Author Report Posted May 16, 2013 Yep still bad and checked at cdi plug for that as well black and blk/wht and its open as well. How do you eliminate on off switch next time ill try ill elim that and key and see if I get better result Quote
Starwriter Posted May 16, 2013 Report Posted May 16, 2013 For it to run, red/black key switch must be connected to black and the black/white kill switch wire must be open. Quote
bansheecaptain Posted May 16, 2013 Author Report Posted May 16, 2013 So if I unplug light/kill plug and blk/w wire ir will still start Quote
ATV Galaxy Posted May 16, 2013 Report Posted May 16, 2013 sounds dumb but check the kill switch... sometimes the ground out and you wont get a spark Quote
Starwriter Posted May 16, 2013 Report Posted May 16, 2013 So if I unplug light/kill plug and blk/w wire ir will still start Correct, but you still need to find out why there's no connection between the red/black wire and the black wire. That's your problem. Quote
bansheecaptain Posted May 16, 2013 Author Report Posted May 16, 2013 Ill eliminate the key and try that and let you guys know thank you Quote
