no spark help

So im working on my uncles shee and it has no spark so I put in my working spare coil still no spark so I put in a working stator still nothing so I pluged in my cdi still nothing any ideas I cant see any damaged wires clueless need help asap

Check the pick up gap, should be around .018 - .020 if im not mistaken.

Yea gap is at .019 and nothing

Put the key in it and turn it on. If the key switch has been removed, connect the red/black wire to the black wire.

Key is on haha thanks. Checked red and black wire at cdi and its open circuit

On off switch still attached? If so check there I've seen a few go bad

Yep still bad and checked at cdi plug for that as well black and blk/wht and its open as well. How do you eliminate on off switch next time ill try ill elim that and key and see if I get better result

Unplugged TORS?

For it to run, red/black key switch must be connected to black and the black/white kill switch wire must be open.

So if I unplug light/kill plug and blk/w wire ir will still start

sounds dumb but check the kill switch... sometimes the ground out and you wont get a spark

Correct, but you still need to find out why there's no connection between the red/black wire and the black wire. That's your problem.
