cylinders filling up with alky

New to alky. Have a 4mm drag ported by k&t bought carbs that came off 10mm cub and is just pooring fuel in the cylinders when sitting and blowing raw alky out the pipes when running. Any ideas?

17-19mm is the float heights from the gasket mating surface.

Take them apart and clean them real good and check the float height.

When I get it to rev up and cleaned out I can launch and then it just falls on its face and almost dies I have to play with the throttle to keep it running.

Brandon recommended to me for a starting place: 6DP4 needles, Dumps .118, Mains .116, and clippard at .089.

I'm going to pull my carbs apart and clean them. in the middle of may I'm going to have it dynoed and tuned

Could It be running so rich that its killing the motor

That's a possibility, you might pull off your pipes and make sure they aren't full of alky too.

That reminds me! Mine had the wrong needle and seat for gravity flow carbs. You might pull out the seat and see if they are 1.8mm (pump) or 3.5mm (gravity). It's right on the underside after you pull them out.

No pump. The 10mm it was on didn't have a pump either
