Ray_barnes22 Posted March 27, 2013 Report Posted March 27, 2013 I did a o ring kit in my duner today and went to torque em all at 21lbs and 7 out of 10 pulled. The last time I used helicores and it held great. Just wondering if there is something better or is helicore fine? Oh it's a Noss head by the way. Quote

rickfarmer Posted March 27, 2013 Report Posted March 27, 2013 I had this happen to me on my last stock cylinder bike, i took 1/2 coarse all thread and had machinist cut it drill and tap it for the stk 8mm studs and then i drilled a old stk head and bolted it on and used it as a guide to drill the cylinders. worked great and havent had a problem since. FYI i used the time cert(90 bucks)first and had no luck Quote
Ray_barnes22 Posted March 28, 2013 Author Report Posted March 28, 2013 Sorry I wasn't clear. The studs that pulled were stock not helicore just wondering is helicore the best thing to repair with. Quote
