speedster07 Posted October 20, 2003 Report Posted October 20, 2003 My banshee doesnt want to start, i have to primer the cylinder with a little bit of gas just to get it started, it acts like it may be due to loss of compression, i currently started to tear it down today to check rings and piston because i recently got it also whenever i have the clutch in whenever you rev it, it just sticks at that rpm and will not drop unless you slightly let of the clutch i have some mechanical knowledge but not awhole lot can someone give me some suggestions. boonman Posted October 20, 2003 Report Posted October 20, 2003 It sounds like you may have an air leak or a clogged pilot jet. Either way, uncontrollable revving, (such as you describe) can almost always be attributed to an air leak if nothing else has changed. (Like timing, etc......) Quote
