It's a general consensus that sst's aren't good for port work. I emailed Kevin at hjr and he recommended some t5's, pro circuits, or even fattys for my mx hardcore port. Ask the builder who's going to do your port job. That's your best bet for sure. They'll put you on the right path

Not true^  SSTs can run great on a ported motor....BETTER than T5's IMHO.

PM CamATV on here he knows of a few motors that have ran them and also RadarRacing. I was talking to Radar and i believe he has a friend that dyno'd his at75hp on SSTs.

Good.

If memory serves, i THINK Radar said that he and CamAtv were at that dyno session together ( at Gigots shop) ,,its been a few years ago. Thats when the bike was dyno'd with SSTs  and made 70-75 hp??

I cant remember,,but i DO remember him saying it made good power ( somewhere in that range). The reason i vaguely remember that is that I had a set of SSTs and was setting up the motor for them,so i was gathering info for myself.

Thats what i really want is to start settin parts aside for a serval. Would that be the most reliable/quickest setup?
