jetting question

Hey guys i know this a banshee site but i picked up an 89 blaster for my son that needed a top end pulled the carb apart and it only had a 220 main jet. It has a toomey b1 pipe and silencer vf3 reeds and a k&N filter in the stock air box with five holes drilled in the top and now it's bored 20 over it came with a carb kit that had a blue needle and a 290 and 300 main I was just wondering where I should start as far as jetting?

If it passes a leakdown start with the 300 with the weather around here. The blue needle is a Vito's , some don't like them, works fine in my son's with Fat Bastard pipe.
