BdBanshee Posted March 24, 2004 Report Posted March 24, 2004 i have a durablue axle and the lock nut did come loose twice but now it seems to be holding on.my friends had problems with there locknuts also an they bought aftermarket kocknuts that fit the durablue.if the nut comes loose again i will be looking for a new one to. Who did they get the replacement locknuts from? I have the Durablue Eliminator and would like to upgrade to a better locknut. Quote

Does the "eliminator axle" use this same style of nut? What would the "proposed replacement" lock nut consist of? how would it diffder in design from the durablue part? Quote

It sounds like you have the same type of locknut. I put mine together and had zero problems until I took it apart, and now that it's back together it keeps coming loose. Quote
