oem stator can produce around 35watts,2x15w for the head lights and 1x5w for the tail light.

if you wanna get more than 35w you have to get an after market stator or to do dc conversion and install battery(which i prefer).

If you do the DC conversion, you actually lose output wattage. 10% static loss is a good number to use. Figure on your stator putting out 65-70w after a DC Conversion. If you're just going to run regular trail techs, there's no reason to do the DC conversion. The conversion is for those who want to run LED or HID lights.
