My chain is as far back as it can go. Its a new chain and has stretched. I was told u cant just take a single link out of the chain ( its a did 520 ) but if I take 2 links out of it it will be a cunt hair to short. I have 14 - 46 sprockets on their now. I need a new rear sprcket anyways but i didnt want to buy a 45 for the rear but i have to if i take 2 links out. Is it possible to take just 1 link out of a chain and if so how is that done. Also if i go with the 45 will i notice much difference in the bike Thanks Quote
Starwriter Posted January 23, 2013 Report Posted January 23, 2013 I see by looking at your other pics that you're running a chromed, lengthened stock swingarm. BTW, good lookin' bike!!!! A stock style carrier has .520" of adjustment. chain pitch is .625". Now that's a crap design. Use a die grinder to lengthen the slot by 3/8" to give you an additional .187" of adjustment for a total adjustment of .707". Quote

If I were you I would run more like a 13/41 set up I think... Tho I don't know what kind of riding you do, I would be worried about the clearance that 46 offers Quote

I might be selling the shee, but if i keep it I will do the arm upgrade. I only ride the dunes and it seems to work fine for me but will look into to it Thanks Quote
