What does everyone do about bolts and nuts? I'm rebuilding my bike and it seems stupid to reuse the same dirty, rusty bolts on a fresh powdercoated frame with all new parts. I don't know, it just stands out to me and i want new ones. I would paint them but i know it would just chip. Things like swingarm, a arm shock bolts, etc. I'm assuming you need a higher grade bolt. what does everyone else do? is it best to go through yamaha or is there somewhere else i can go?

Didn't some one break the shock bolts that they provided? I think it was jds that broke them if I remember right.

Yup, I've heard horror stories from using stainless on suspension.

Just looked them up. Seems like a lot of money to spend on bolts that you won't see or use anyway. Where could i find just the ones i want? like for a arms, swingarm, motor and plastics?

Run you old ones on a wire wheel to clean them up that's what I'm going to do. I know the feeling of wanting clean bolts. Or take all the bolts you want to replace to the hardware store and get some grade 8 stainless bolts.
