I'm running a tors eliminator cable and it won't let my 32mm Mikuni carbs bottom out. There is plenty of slack at the top of the cable but it looks like the section of cable that is split in 2 is too short?

What's my problem?

stock throttle cable wont open to far  yes your right  the plastic part in the middle is too short   buy a longer cable,.    the torrs cabe ( for the tops) center section is a lil longer.  you might be able to switch them out  i ahve done that before.

I think I've found a solution without spending more $ but no doubt I would get clowned for it.

What is your recommendation for a replacement cable?

Thanks for chiming in BTW sir.

Yeah it doesn't make since that my cable won't work. Maybe I got some odd bay ebay cable or something. Maybe round slides require more travel then flat slides? I just ordered a motion pro tors cable. I gottah get this thing in the dirt mang!

*SOLVED*

I used a mini tubing cutter and cut approx 1/8" off the ends. Full travel now!

Figured I'd update this incase someone else runs into the same problem...PB

You got it boss. Just remember to cut them both EXACTLY the same. The tubing cutter makes this easy as long as your measurements are the same.

I bought the tors cable like cam said but the ball ends wouldn't work with my slides.
