gappa38 Posted November 21, 2012 Report Share Posted November 21, 2012 I was on here asking the same question about 4 months ago, i was directed towards Kevin at HJR, hes a sponser on here, he did a hardcore port job done to match a new full set of pro circuit pipes, he got me an adj. timng plate, stock shaved head and man does it go!!! i was extremely happy with the power gains considering it was completely stock when i started. AKheathen Posted November 21, 2012 Report Share Posted November 21, 2012 well, usually pipes are the first thing to do. the stock pipes are what really choke it back in stock form. look for pipes that suite your ridding style/terrain. you must absolutely re-jet for any motor or flow mods. if you plan on building the motor up, make sure the pipes can still hang with as much motor as you build. for instance, t6 pipes are pretty darn good, argueably the most efficient power-adders for a bone stock engine. however, that is because that is what they are built for, and anything more than a stock engine will make the pipes just hold the motor back. do a bunch of research on the site and ask questions as they come up to get in the right direction. James_21 Posted November 21, 2012 Report Share Posted November 21, 2012 Fullflight make a cheap but decent set of plus 1 plus 2 arms for like 375ish and can go ul to anywhere around 600-800 dollars, depends if the are chrome or just a plain paint job.
