I'm trying to prepare my Banshee for its first trip to Glamis in february next year.

 

curint modifications:

pro circute pipes

Vito's neadles

pro desine foam air filter without lid

4* timind advance

milled head for 93 octain

barnett clutch

Tuned by speed freaks in nyc about 10 years ago

 

snd skate II padels and stock front tires

 

 

what modifications should i make that will not hurt in the trails?

 

I was thinking 4mill stroker, cool head, v-force reeds, t5's,

In my opinion your money could be spent in better ways. As suggested above, start with suspension. You aren't going to be smoking people at olds with your mild banshee but you will rip around no problem. The best money I spent for sand riding was extened a arms, handling and ride are way better. Upgraded lights is a smart play, hard to go fast at night if you can't see. 6 pack rack, carrying beers/drinks is important on long rides.

What about the rear shock?

Stock gearing works perfect in glamis. I would run some race gas or 50/50 to be on the safe side if i was you.

 

Plugs,carb cleaner,jets,gear oil,misc emergency tools,flash light,6 pack with fuel,camel pack for water,back up quad etc.. you can never be over prepared for glamis also get some of us locals a shout when your there...

Lots of beer. I ran out and had to head into yuma while i was picking up my cylinders for more beer.
