Use a dial gauge and find true TDC, then measure how much the edge of the piston protrudes above or below the cylinder deck. You can do it with a dial gauge or even feeler gauges, or a set of calipers.

Ok bought a caliper today, the deck height is .39 thousands,my base Gasket is a .39 also. Just waiting on my new domes so I can check the squish.

Yes, .039 will let you know when i get my new domes with my squish is. What should my deck height be around? Since u say my squish well be way off.
