I have a trailtech inline temp gauge, temp was running around 155ish at peak the other day. Normally my temps are 160-185ish and i havent noticed any coolant dripping out of the overflow onto the right exhaust pipe. I stopped on the road and had a bit of coolant dripping out of right side onto pipe.....not a ton but temp was fine and didnt feel terribly hot.

Am i overheating or could this be a head gasket problem?

I dont notice any coolant leaks anywhere, plugs are burning evenly, last compression test was 118/120ish on both cylinders, over the last tyank a a half of fuel i have noticed a very small amount of coolant missing from bottle under the seat....maybe 1/8"-1/4" lower than when i had filled it.

Any ideas?

You can ditch the overflow bottle and just run your overflow hose so that it will drip onto your pipes and steam up if your getting to hot.

Okay. But im wondering why its overflowing and driping onto the pipes when the temp gauge only shows 155 degrees.

is this an overheating problem or could it be a bad head gasket?

When the engine reaches real high revs it will push out the unneeded amount of coolant, an overflow of coolant thus the coolant overflow bottles purpose. As long as it doesnt keep doing it your fine.
