Anthony133 Posted September 26, 2012 Author Report Posted September 26, 2012 Im HOPING under $500 What is your budget? Quote
Dicklez Posted September 26, 2012 Report Posted September 26, 2012 This is the guy to talk too^^^^^^^^^^^^ But if those wp shocks are not blown and work well, why not pull them apart, get the springs pc'd for a few bucks, clean them up and use them. Quote
So Cal Suspension Posted September 26, 2012 Report Posted September 26, 2012 Im HOPING under $500 Is that including a-arms, or just shocks? If it's just shocks, you can get a set of bottom of the line Elkas for around $500 bucks. If you need a-arms also, you'll probably end up getting used a-arms and used Works shocks. Still a viable option. These came up on eBay, and are a killer price. They're stock length, compression adjustable, and look to be in excellent shape. I'd consider expanding your budget a little more if you can, and you'll get excellent outcome. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Banshee-Elka-front-shocks-billet-drag-race-/150907394559?pt=Motors_ATV_Parts_Accessories&hash=item2322c819ff&vxp=mtr Quote
sprinklerman Posted September 26, 2012 Report Posted September 26, 2012 If its what you are looking for, i have some used Fireball A-Arms in the F/S section. Hope this helps. 500.00 for both is a tight budget to work with, 1 Quote
peterlocal22 Posted September 28, 2012 Report Posted September 28, 2012 x2^ i agree, its worth the waite! Quote
willardwright59 Posted September 28, 2012 Report Posted September 28, 2012 try and find some more offset wheels for more width. thatll save you over the a arms. and if your racing on tight trails, +2 can sometimes be abit much. for shocks, id get either elkas or works. if you can find some, get ohlins. i got a set off bansheeboi and sent them to ohlins to be rebuilt and set up for my riding style and weight, and i couldnt be happier. willardwright59 Posted September 29, 2012 Report Posted September 29, 2012 in the hair scrambles you arent jumping, if you are its not much Quote

dunesovertrails Posted September 29, 2012 Report Posted September 29, 2012 (edited) I'm not sure what you mean by "not much travel"? Not much room for the shocks to compress i guess... Like some shocks are longer so they have more travel i guess. Thats just the terminology my buddies use so i picked up on it too lol. Edited September 29, 2012 by dunesovertrails Quote

Thats just the terminology my buddies use so i picked up on it too lol. You're talking about the ones I posted? They're stock length shocks. They're just fine for jumping. I'm still not quite sure what you are getting at. Are you saying because they're not not going to be mated with long Travel a-armsl that you can't jump on them? The gentleman said that he had a $500 budget... A long travel setup is completely out of the question, which is the reason I suggest standard length shocks. You can't just stuff 3" longer shocks on arms made for stock length shocks, and expect that they'll have more travel and be better for jumping, if that's what you are getting at. Quote
