Since i now need a new crank, im just going all out on this banshee. Full rebuild from the ground up. I was hoping to get something like this engine wise.

 

First, what mm pistons do i get, what brand piston is good besides wiseco because they aren't cheap. Race fuel wise, i know nothing. i don't even know where to get it. I live in IL and i heard I'm supposed to go to IN to get it. I was thinking the 421cc big bore, v force3's, cool head, adj timing plate and boost bottle and a hot rods 4mm crank trued and welded. i think thats it. What type of race fuel should i use and what should the compression be for it? Im not racing my banshee but the power and speed would be awesome. Also, do i NEED bigger carbs? and if so, what size?

If you go 4 mill then you will get the 4 mill pistons and I would just go to what ever size your jugs need. Big Bore is what ever displacement your aiming for youigjt like 10 mill serval.

What do you currently have done? By the sounds of it not much, or maybe you're new to banshees. I think you should start with the basics then move up, a 421 on race gas is a big step if you're stock. Don't need people getting hurt on something they cant handle by jumping into the deep end right away. Just gives the hippies and EPA another reason to bitch about these things.Oh, read up on the forums for a while, a lot of good info.

 

I currently do have a stock banshee, but ive ridden my friends bored and ported and ive also been on more powerful quads. Im not going to be stupid on it, but ill be careful and use the power as i can handle it. i went from a 250 4 stroke to a banshee and everything was fine. took alittle while to get used to the power and handling change, but its all good.
