just got my stock, trail ported cylinders back from a & s racing after waiting 9 months for them. can someone get me in the ball park for jetting, i got cel needles, 45 pilot, 165 main

Start right there and check it. Then you will probably be about right on needle, pilot and end up down 4 or 5 jet sizes from there , about a 150-155. I had CEL , 48 , 152s in my 350 with CPI inframes. It really depends on what filters and pipes too , as well as timing. I had pods and +5.

k&n`s, v force 2, cpi inframes. thanks radar, gotta update my jet collection, i got a sputter in the mid. adjusting the needles, and it dont get any better.

I think I ended up with 45 or 48 pilots, Cel needle, and 148 mains with my air Stryker carbs. Im at about 2400 ft too. They seem to definitely like smaller jetting comepared to regular pwk carbs.

i almost got it, needle 4 th pos. airscrews 2 turns out. neighbors are getting pissed. i haven`t broke my bike out in over 7 yrs. i forgot how loud it is, sputter almost gone.

Prolly need to jet the main down but start over on the needle if you lean the main down a bunch.

 

Yea if you are pretty sure of your needle selection and you are having trouble cleaning up the midrange you might double check the main again.

i will try it, neighbors called the police. its right before the main. sputter is just about gone. tommorow, i gotta get some more mains
