turbowrenchhead Posted August 13, 2012 Report Posted August 13, 2012 So my buddy got his hands on a 01 DS 650 (with a Ron Woods performance package on it including the intake) that didn't run. We tore it down and found bad valves to be the problem. As I was helping him I notice his intake is the same kind of style as the banshee 2-1. The DS is a single cylinder but they have separate ports. I noticed how the intake has a knife edge to increase maximum flow. The intake that I just bought off of a member on this board does not have a knife edge and its more rounded. I'm thinking that I'm going to modify it so it looks like the ds performance intake. What are you thoughts? Quote
Acheron Posted August 13, 2012 Report Posted August 13, 2012 I think that any sort of porting should be left to the pro's. Contact a sponsor that does different types of porting and see what they say. Quote
