kchubb-banshee350 Posted August 12, 2012 Report Posted August 12, 2012 I just bought a set of bills pipes used. They are going to be awesome when i get them all polished up. but what is the best way to do so? there is some surface rust and some parts of the pipe are very brown in color. Any suggestions on how to get the shine back into these pipes? thanks guys! Quote
dave5.0 Posted August 13, 2012 Report Posted August 13, 2012 Stuff em inside a set of good pipes that are already chromed. Quote
eastonbighitter Posted August 13, 2012 Report Posted August 13, 2012 use a fine grit wet sand paper until you get all the rust off and the get some metal polish and a polishing wheel for a drill or bench grinder and go at it! Quote

Rustynail Posted August 13, 2012 Report Posted August 13, 2012 Bills pipe are a good low to mid pipe...they do make a buch of power on the low end just dont rev as high as some of your GOOD pipes. I like bills. I have a set hanging in the garage for my next trail bike. Stuff em inside a set of good pipes that are already chromed. Quote

yzrmbsg Posted August 13, 2012 Report Posted August 13, 2012 #00000 steel wool to take the grime and rust off, then some polish and a wheel, shines them right up! Requires a bit of elbow grease! Quote
