Starwriter Posted July 25, 2012 Report Posted July 25, 2012 Has anybody made a fuel tank sight gauge like the old banquet style coffee makers? Pull the seat off and see how much fuel you have left. Running a Pingle, sometimes I worry about having enough fuel to get back to the parking lot. I guess another way would be a wood dowel dipstick stored under the seat. Quote
rjdgriff Posted July 25, 2012 Report Posted July 25, 2012 Eh just drop a match in there to see how much is left Quote
willardwright59 Posted July 26, 2012 Report Posted July 26, 2012 i always stuck the cap upside down and put the breather hose in the tank, plug one side of the hose and see what stayed in the hose. Quote

Damn that's sneaky. Can't u look in there and see it? Most phones got a flashlight app if u need it. Quote
