dunesovertrails Posted July 14, 2012 Report Posted July 14, 2012 I was washing my banshee and then went to take it for a quick rip. It was acting very boggy so only rode for like 2 minutes. I took off the air filters and they were wet. Im letting them dry out in the sun right now. Do you think anything could have possibly gotten messed up from them being wet? Thanks. Quote
dunesovertrails Posted July 14, 2012 Author Report Posted July 14, 2012 Just put em back on and its running great. Quote
SAVAGE420 Posted July 14, 2012 Report Posted July 14, 2012 Your fuct now man, stop riding it ASAP. You need to rebuild the whole motor now, the water will have messed up all the bearings and they will be all rusty and fling apart in no time at all. Kidding. Throw some zip lock bags over them before you spray the bike down with water...... Quote

DirtDiggler69 Posted July 15, 2012 Report Posted July 15, 2012 Make sure they are Premium quality zip loc bags , lesser quLity zip loc bags may only deflect water , as opposed to ziplocs patented water repelling technology Quote
Banshee Chad Posted July 15, 2012 Report Posted July 15, 2012 I don't even use air filters. I don't need an air filter, why should my bike? Quote
