BUILDER Posted July 12, 2012 Report Share Posted July 12, 2012 That is not the part of the shift shaft you really need to worry about. You need to check both springs on the other end of it and check the little pin that goes through the hook to make sure it is good and tight. If any of those things are loose scrap it.
