j_rod421 Posted July 6, 2012 Report Posted July 6, 2012 I'm looking for some opinions on the porting of the CP cheetah cub cylinders. I know hands down looking at the stockers there was all sorts of room for improvement, but the "cleaned up" form of the cubs look damn good. If i were to have a drag port done, can I really expect big improvements? Also, I built this motor before the Servals (sorry if the spelling is shit) were available, so does anybody do a "race" port? Something with a bit broader power band? I know those are two completely different things, but I'm building a drag bike right now and will most likely put the 421 in it. If that doesn't work out, I'll just make that meaner of a duner. I always used John Stallworth for stock cylinders and was extremely pleased. Not only did the thing run like a striped raped ape, but he's local and will talk your ear off. He's truely an enthusiast in what he does. Has anybody out there used John for doing any porting on cub cylinders? I'm sure all the sponsors on here are awesome, but John's never given me a reason to look else where. What say you guys? Quote
