left cylinder not firing above half throttle

I have just put a Athena big bore kit on with 1/8 mile drag port on. When I'm going above half throttle the left cylinder sounds like it stops firing it kind of sounds like its a rev limit but it only does it on the left side. I have swapped the carbs, reeds, and plug wires from side to side. I also have a dyna fs cdi box. Any ideas on what is going on?

I swapped the carbs from left to right and it stayed on the left side

stock carbs? check ohms of stator and pick up

Keihn carbs. Brand new Ricky stator stator and new flywheel

just cuz its new doesnt mean its good. id check it ive read of them being bad right out of the box..

check comp? and air leaks?

177 and im not sure how to check for air leaks

leak tester but one way to check intakes is while its running spray some carb cleaner around them and see if it revs up ( but not on your filter)

It wasnt on the intake side. I'll have to get a leak tester for the cylinder side tomorrow

i dont know what else it could be besides cdi. i had the same prob about a month ago it was dirty prefillter but did the same thing chopped up in the higher rpms

Gotta hate chasing gremlins. Ricky stators are very bad about breaking up in the upper rpms

I got a buddy that's gonna let me try his cdi in the next day r so. I had a ricky stator last time just something came loss and messed it up so thats what i went back with it over the ebay stuff

could a bad exhaust seal cause it?
