1st off thanks to those that put together the Banshee Electrical FAQ http://bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=133650

Makes life alot easier

that being said

I needed to eliminate a few gremlins

TORS Removed , kill switch unplugged, Key disconnected and wires jumped out

repaired bad wires (solder and heat shrink) stator wires

stator 13.7-20.5 got 18.3Ω

pick-up 94-140 got 117Ω

coil wire to wire (no caps) 6020Ω

w/NGK Caps 15620Ω , caps 4570Ω & 4980Ω

here's were I'm running into q's on my lighting coil and primary coil I'm getting .6Ω

should be .26--38 and .28-.38

tried both with 2 different meters on the lowest scale which is 200Ω

also got the same results checking my brother-in-laws Banshee

Possible the resolution our meters doesn't go low enough to get an accurate reading ?

or do we both need Coils ?

thanks

Also wanted to ask

does the CDI look at the rising or falling signal from the pickup?

reason I asked is , I have a lightened flywheel on the banshee now

I was thinking the quad would better with my fatazz with the stock flywheel

I got one but the one side of the "tabs" has a radius on it

and didn't want it to send a mis-timed signal to the CDI

thanks
