Headlight wire color

Is the high beam yellow or green? 2000 Banshee if that matters . Also I have removed my key switch . It's unplugged , do I have to jumper any of the terminals?

High beam is yellow, low beam is green.

 

 

Also, the schematic has been posted about 480 times.

Lol sorry my big thumbs hit the wrong section , I was wondering why I couldn't find my first post about the wiring . I primarily use my iPhone for internettin on the HQ .

I'll take a look at the Schematic as well . As far as the key switch , will the diagram give me any clues if just disconnecting the key switch will allow the bike to run ?

Yes, it's a complete wiring schematic.

Do you own a multimeter? If not you need one. Check continuity of the ignition switch in the run position and that will tell you. We could tell you but you will learn a more valuable lesson by figuring this one out on your own.

Good answer. Learn how to fix shit and why shit works one way and not the other. This way when it breaks you have an idea of what to look for. Not just jump on here and wait for the right answer to be given to you.
