jasons Posted March 15, 2012 Report Posted March 15, 2012 I have a set of 17cc Trinity 4 mil big bore cub domes looking to trade for a set of 19cc 4mil big bore cub domes Good Luck. From what Trinity says their domes only works with their head. You should just buy a new head. Trinity = Quote
WINDYCITYJOHN400 Posted March 15, 2012 Report Posted March 15, 2012 If you own Trinity domes, weather they are in your motor or in your hand.....they work well as coasters, christmas ornaments, and ear rings. You don't want to trade those to anyone.......you don't need any enemies. Just put them in the "I should have known better pile" and move on. Put the head shell in that same pile, call NOSS or a site builder and get your motor figured out right. Quote
Zwiser Posted March 15, 2012 Report Posted March 15, 2012 May I ask why trinity's domes are bad? I run them and I don't seem to be having any problems. Quote
jrmarquez.702 Posted March 15, 2012 Report Posted March 15, 2012 I ran trinity domes/head on a stock cylinder play bike for a while and had no problems. If you want more/better performance on a bigger motor then I would get custom domes cut. IMHO these guy are out to bash everything that trinity makes. Ok, we know their off the shelf cheetah domes suck, get over it...... Quote
Zwiser Posted March 15, 2012 Report Posted March 15, 2012 Ok, cool I was going to change to a NOSS anyways once I put a serval in, just didn't want to grenade anything till then Quote
RadarRacing Posted March 18, 2012 Report Posted March 18, 2012 Keep your timing down and dont try to jet your bike correctly. Keep it very rich and you probably wont detonate the crank out of it till you get a different setup. Trinity only has that bad reputation from the 500 people who have blown orings, pistons and hammered ruined cranks from their many years of bad domes. I really dont think thats very fair to Trinity to blame them for all that do you? A good set of domes only costs $50 to 80. Quote
