DirtDiggler69 Posted March 4, 2012 Report Posted March 4, 2012 I bought a set of Wally World " Platinum Burners " and replaced the 50w with 35w bulbs , will I have enough juice to run a tail light as well? Was thinking of using a r1 style LED tail light and use one of those Load resistors to protect the led from voltage spikes from the stator . any problems I might run into? I thought about getting the LED bulbs for the head lights and use the load resistors for them as well . I know Wally lights aren't the best , but for right now they will work until I can do a DC conversion . Quote
amstall Posted March 4, 2012 Report Posted March 4, 2012 They work just fine with the 35w bulbs.....except that they constantly burn out it seems like. lol. I ran my set same as yours with a regular old traillight for 2 years or so and never had problems. Quote
DirtDiggler69 Posted March 4, 2012 Author Report Posted March 4, 2012 You got any pics of how you mounted them? Stock location is what I was thinking , but need to come up with a bracket . Quote
