they are very picky on spark arrestors, I have seen them stop guys on the dunes and check them.

I know they used to be that way, Im just wondering when i put cpi inframes and ill put those clamp on spark arrestors on if i will be able to ride in or will i have to drive it in , in the back of my truck and then unload it? My main concern is the decibal limit, if newly packed silencers would pass their test or not?

WHAAAAAa? Spark arrestors and decibel limits? Are they afraid you'll scare the lizards, and burn the sand?

What a crock of shit... How the hell do drag bikes run out there then? You probably have to pay to camp, and pay to use the dunes too, don't you?

Sure do, What we used to do was put our drag banshees in the back of truck and drive into dunes then unload them, they never checked them if theyre in the back of a truck. And yes it sucks that we have to go through all of this to ride in the sand!

That's nuts. It was the same way at LS in Oklahoma. I never understood why they have an "entrance" to the dunes, and charge you 10 bucks a day just to touch the sand. Here, we pay 90 bucks for the year, go 365 days, day or night, whenever you feel like it. I've never heard of anyone getting a DB ticket, and they CERTAINLY don't charge to camp. We really have 3 rules, that's it. Whip, helmet, don't be drunk riding/driving. That's about it...

with all the tree huggers around our country we are lucky to still have places to ride.

the money helps support the dnr to keep our dunes open.

don't meen I like it but it's what we have to do to ride there
