New banshee owner, need advice

No key switch on the bike its been removed. The tors system is completely removed from the carbs and the wires are disconnected. I have a camera, but no photobucket account. There is a red and brown wire nutted together and a black and black/white wire nutted together, I'm guessing that was to bypass the key switch but looking at the wiring diagrams it should be a red/black wire and black wire for the key switch and the black and black/white wire is for the on/off switch.

Has the rear brake module been disconnected? I had issues on two bikes from that box. It's on the left side behind the radiator, mounted to the frame.

I don't believe it has the rear brake module, I think only 2003 and newer have them or at least that's how it is on my blaster.
