andrew3160
I run these and have never had a problem with them and they have last for many years. http://www.rockymountainatvmc.com/p/43/-/165/723/1764/24062/Kenda-Dune-Runner-Front-ATV-Tire I have always thought these look pretty cool. http://www.rockymountainatvmc.com/p/43/-/165/723/1764/6057/Skat%257ETrak-Mohawk-ATV-Tire But you can't go wrong with the razr's at $20 a tire right now. I think Amstall runs them on one of his bikes and they seem to hold up real well. Pretty gnarly looking too! http://www.rockymountainatvmc.com/p/43/-/165/723/1764/29460/Maxxis-Razr-Blade-Front-ATV-Tire
Infamous039
Thanks guys, I think all those tires are great choices. I am looking for the different between single rid and dual rib and the benefits of each tire ??
beez33
I have ran both. Both are good. I liked the dual rib a little better. I felt like I had a little better control. I run skat trak mowhawks now and they are expensive but also a good tire and they look cool.
Glamis321
Im not a fan of the mohawks. I have them on my bike right now, and they don't seem to grip very well. I've tried out the sand stars before and they grip a lot better. The Kendas do good too.
So Cal Suspension
Im not a fan of the mohawks. I have them on my bike right now, and they don't seem to grip very well. I've tried out the sand stars before and they grip a lot better. The Kendas do good too. I loved my sand stars... I've ridden on just about every front sand tire... Worked the best, hands down. Mohawks are nice if you have to ride on asphalt for a little while before you get to the dunes, like at LS, OK...
amstall
I've ran the solid single rib, the mohawk style, the razr, and the double rib sand stars. I'd say the sand stars definitely handle the best, followed by the razr or single rib, and mohawk last. There is very little difference though. The mohawks tend to slide just a little before they grab, which I like but it isn't responsive enough for some people. I really like my razrs, with 2 rows of mohawks they grab pretty well....and you can't beat the price.
