You will most likely want to put a 6"-8" piece of pipe coming out of the head pipes though. I don't think you will see any power gains. Running without will however make you your bike sound like crap and ensure fewer places for you to ride. So unless you are 14 yrs old and think its cool I would keep em on. Coupelx Posted February 12, 2012 Report Share Posted February 12, 2012 be no different than a unsilenced drag pipe BUT the stingers need to be a certain length still. Tyler (locogato) runs 'straight pipes' that were tuned for his bike. you can see them on his 611R honda thing he did. but they are loud and annoying. so for anything other than a drag bike, dont do it.
