andrew3160 Posted February 12, 2012 Report Posted February 12, 2012 Yes you can run them with out a silencer. You will most likely want to put a 6"-8" piece of pipe coming out of the head pipes though. I don't think you will see any power gains. Quote
RadarRacing Posted February 12, 2012 Report Posted February 12, 2012 Silencers do NOT rob power at all. Running without will however make you your bike sound like crap and ensure fewer places for you to ride. So unless you are 14 yrs old and think its cool I would keep em on. Quote

Tyler (locogato) runs 'straight pipes' that were tuned for his bike. you can see them on his 611R honda thing he did. but they are loud and annoying. so for anything other than a drag bike, dont do it.
