jonvia Posted February 11, 2012 Report Posted February 11, 2012 i currently have stock porting, t-5 toomey's, vf3 reeds, billet one piece intakes, pj 34mm carbs with 6" pods and stock head. I am upgrading to some dune ported cylinders. my mains are 158's and my piolet's are 48s. my question is will i have to jet up again to compensate for the port work? and future mods will be a pt coolhead with 22 or 21cc domes. thanks for any help that is possible. jonvia Posted February 11, 2012 Author Report Posted February 11, 2012 yes Any time you change air flow in or out (sounds like sex, in, out, repeat if neccessary) hahaha thought so lol. what would be a good main to go up to? a 160? Quote
Larry's Shee Posted February 11, 2012 Report Posted February 11, 2012 http://bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=99361 Search or manually search this thread to find a simular set-up. I would think more than one size larger would be necessary going from stockers to ported. Always start rich and work your way down. Quote
jonvia Posted February 12, 2012 Author Report Posted February 12, 2012 i emailed herr jugs racing and they told me to go to a 145 main and 45 piolets? that does not make sense to me... Quote
