I'm thinking the smaller opening is to speed up air flow, giving a slight over filling, or positive pressure VS static atmosphere pressure that the larger opening will give you. andrew3160 Posted February 3, 2012 Report Share Posted February 3, 2012 You can buy the retainers from FAST to open up the inlet of the VF3's. I believe you just modify the reeds your self.
