Hey guys. I picked up a nice banshee but it was lowered in the front with aftermarket shocks. I picked up a project Banshee a few days ago and attempted to swap the stock shocks from it to my lowered Banshee and strangely enough, they dont fit! Stock a arms, stock frame, stock shocks, and the shock eyelets dont fit in the mounting holes on the frame upper mounts... They dont look bent in any way and appear to be too strong to bend anyway. I dont understand it and need my banshee to have more than 5 inches of ground clearence for trail riding. HELP

ill swap you , mine are stock. i use the shorter ones for flattrack.

Like i said... I tried to put stock shocks in my banshee and they would not fit... It had short shocks when i got it but if i cant get my stockers to work then the short ones are going back on with spacers...

didnt you say they were blaster shocks ? measure the width of the eyelet on the stock ones you have .

They are stock banshee. Theres no logical reason they wouldnt fit my banshee

dude just bent the damn tabs back out..... yes they are easily bent in when the wrong one's are used :shootself:

Okay. Whats the best way to go about that? Adjustable wrench on the tabs and hit with a hammer? Vice grips clamped to the tabs and hit with hammer?

Just use a crescent wrench and adjust it down flush on the tab and bend them back by hand. I've had to do this on two different frames in the past. It's not difficult to bend them.
