banshee332 Posted January 16, 2012 Report Posted January 16, 2012 can i use a 7mil crank with stock cylinders? yes, you will have to have your cases trenched and have you cylinders set up for the added stroke Quote
banshee116 Posted January 16, 2012 Author Report Posted January 16, 2012 yes, you will have to have your cases trenched and have you cylinders set up for the added stroke so by cylinders setup- you mean having them spaced or having the domes cut so the pistons dont hit? Also will i have to use a special piston? Quote

Also will i have to use a special piston? change port timings for the longer stroke.you will need a diff. piston like a 795 series when using a longer rod like a 115 Quote
banshee116 Posted January 17, 2012 Author Report Posted January 17, 2012 ok so do i change my port timing by getting it ported or spaced? so with the 795 will i still have to have my domes shaved? Quote
