I was wondering if anyone knows who might make custom banshee dampers out of Delrin. It seems like the stock banshee rubber dampers are not hard enough to keep the engine from moving around and causing chain issues during the launch.

It would be nice to find someone who already wrote a CNC program for the piece instead of everyone inventing their own wheel.

Any ideas or help would be appreciated.

Do you have the tension rods properly installed under the engine?

this has ran through my mind also. wouldnt even need a cnc just a lathe and mcmastercarr has some stock that would work perfectly.

It is in a hillshooter chassis. I have one strut under the motor right now and it is a solid adjustable strut. I will be adding a second one. The motor is a triple cylinder banshee so it is heavier than stock. I had this same issue on my Cheetah too. I think the stock rubber dampers are too soft to handle the power when you launch. The rubber gives and the motor twists and then the chain alignment is off and the chain skips on the rear sprocket.

I am talking with a member on here who is a machinist who is willing to make one for me. I will be sending him all the measurements. I was thinking of having just one long piece vs. the two separate damper mounts. Any input from you guys would be great.
