Pretty keen to put a temp gauge on my shee after boiling it a couple of times. Has anyone used these Davies Craig temp gauge caps. are they accurate and work or a waste of money.

if they are a good thing what pressure would you recommend.

I believe they are built by Mr. Gasket, atleast that is the brand I've ran on my bikes.

I've gone through two of these caps so far. First cap the temp gauge just stopped working after about one summer of riding. Second cap wouldn't seal properly and radiator fluid would leak.

I know there are alot of guys on here that have ran them with no issues, just though I would share my experience.

I have no experience with the thermo caps but I seen a few guys on here debating the new TTO digital gauges and think I will run one my self.

Pretty inexpensive and a pretty nice setup for what we are trying to accomplish when monitoring the temp of our bikes.

I just got a TTO temp gauge...

seems like a good solid gauge... the screen is somewhat small i find... but easy to place and wont take up much room!

I like that gauge. Does it seem to read temp well? Where did you mount it?
