andrew3160 Posted December 28, 2011 Report Posted December 28, 2011 I used one last season with no issues but will most likely go to steel when this one wears due to what I have heard about durability and not lasting as long as steel. Quote
bansheesandrider Posted December 28, 2011 Report Posted December 28, 2011 (edited) Do the aluminum gears hold up? NO, not nearly the life of a steel sprocket. When I ran aluminum, I replaced sprockets and chain EVERY year. Since I went back to steel, they last about 4 times as long. Edited December 28, 2011 by bansheesandrider Quote
2004LEBanshee Posted December 28, 2011 Report Posted December 28, 2011 To be honest Ive had my best luck with cheap Tusk steel sprokets. No more bending and sheared teeth. Quote
