So with the long needle in leanest clip the one (with 6 clips maybe call a dyno jet needle from alba no markings )the power was flat then mid to top pulls good.

With the stock needle mid clip it goes then dies abit then pulls good.

I think it needes more fuel

Stock carbs 310 m 27.5 stock needles

Toomey t4 k&n no port. Clean carbs ok plugs

Back to long needle on the max rich clip. So it goes..

Then bogs ... Then pulls hard.... This is with the air screw

.5 out. I might try the stock needle max rich clip but it seem to want the pilot bigger?

Also does the air idle mix screw close out air or fuel?

Ok now just tryed the short stock needle on Max rich clip

And it seemed to load up then go hard. Next gear alittle less. But you go slow first gear and it seemed to load up like to much fuel. The best so far might be long needle and 2 nd to rich.

Do most banshees have a lag at the bottom

I still want to get ride of the bog between low to mid

Any in put?

I run stock needles clipped 2nd from top. No port work just polished. k&n filter with no lid. most banshees have some low rpm lag. to help that, put in some reed spacers between reeds and cylinder. also i advance the timing 4 degrees. it helped me alot. Good luck!!!!
