Bkm2006 Posted December 21, 2011 Report Posted December 21, 2011 thinking about buying a set of cases and slowly building a 4 mill cub... should i buy cases and just piece it all together ? or should i buy a complete motor? crank and cylinders are going to be replaced anyway figured it might just be cheaper to buy cases and build up? Infamous039 Posted December 21, 2011 Report Posted December 21, 2011 I would say piece it together unlesse you find a motor for under $600 Quote
Bkm2006 Posted December 21, 2011 Author Report Posted December 21, 2011 ok are all year cases to the same? mines an 03 didnt know if they changed anything over the years in case design? Quote
Wildcardracing Posted December 21, 2011 Report Posted December 21, 2011 I would recommend hitting up John Austin (NYUK) or JoshZ on here. They usually have a number of partout quads. I'm sure one of them could put you a package together with: cases, transmission and hardware. Buying these items new is still a possibility, but very expensive. The cases are all interchangeable throughout the years. There are a few minor cosmetic differences in the older ones and the older ones have a plug in the speedometer bung whereas the newer ones are cast solid. -Brandon Quote
