I just use a Motorola Jawbone for my PS3. I've heard nothing but bad things about the PS3 bluetooths.

My brother uses a phone set on his, I'm really after a proper surround sound over the head style so I can play games or watch movies loud and not disturb others

Oh got it. I've used the Turtle Beach one, and it was pretty good sound. Just be careful, because they break really easy. If you accidentally sit on it, or step on it, it's done.

Yeah I've not really heard great things about the turtle beach' I've heard they're meant to have a bad build quality and they're meant to suffer from hissing. And with their headsets apart from the cheapest one you can only use them on one console.

 

There is just so many to choose from now and none are that cheap so just trying to find some opinions.

I use Tritton ax720's they work and you can find them cheep now! Work for all platforms.

I had a set of astro a40s they were great. The best in my opinion. I don't know about the 50s though
