so i just got done doing a full rebuild on my 01 banshee, 4 mill crank and 421 drag ported head. bike starts up great but im having trouble getting my gas lines to stop leaking. it leaks where the gas line feeds the carb (brand new 35mm keinins) the carbs do not come with any clamps for the lines so ive been trying different size clamps that i have but cant seem to get a good seal! anyone got any good tips for doing this?? i gotta say im very dissapoited in how many parts didnt come in these so called "bolt on kits"

Are your fuel lines soft and flexible or are they hard and nonflexable? if the lines are soft, you can use zip ties to clamp them on, or go to the auto parts store and get the smallest clamps they have. If the lines are hard, go to a bike shop and get some new fuel lines. I have nver seen fuel lines and or hose clamps included in ANY kind of kit, there are just to many variables involved.

If you can't find a fuel line clamp to keep your fuel from leaking at the points of connections i am assuming your fuel line is to large or something. how tight does your fule line fit. I know on mine it fits real snug and i just use a spring band hose clamp to hold it on.

You have the wrong size gas lines, plain and simple. I never had to use clamps on my gas lines and never experienced leaks. Go purchase smaller gas lines and you should be good.

I used zip ties on my fuel lines on my carbs & pingle. Worked good & no leaks. I would use some type of clamp on the lines for safety

Even if the lines do not leak without clamps. Just my 0.2cents.

Take a smaller gas line put it on the carb inlet and clip it off and slide the larger hose over it. Problem solved with no leaks.

These are all completely normal things no need to get mad once you get it you won't have to mess will it for a while but something else will give you a fit, the mire you mid it the more little things you'll be tinkering with get use to it.

The first three times I went to take mine out I had nothing but problems (mostly my fault) but once they got figured out it runs great I have about 4 trips on the motor now and could not be happier!!!
