Strm Trpr Posted September 20, 2011 Report Posted September 20, 2011 Here is some info worth reading. http://www.toomey.com/html/cat-t5-1_store.htm Here you can buy the specially ground needles for the perfect fuel curve for T5's. http://www.toomey.com/html/intake_system_parts1.htm Here's some more info regarding the jetting. Almost all the way down numbered 1-5 in bold text. http://www.toomey.com/html/t5-inst.htm 1. Needle on the 4th groove 2. #280 Main jet (sea level, #270 for hot days or high altitude <2500') 3. Float setting = 21mm 4. Airscrew at approx. 1.5 turns out from full in. (Effective range .5 to 2.5) 5. Standard pilot jet (#25) IMO, I'd buy their "Perfect Jet Kit". Quote

Boone Posted September 21, 2011 Report Posted September 21, 2011 I cant imagine you needing more than a 270 main.. stick with a 25 pilot (for now) but you'll need more for further upgrades. Quote
