decon Posted September 17, 2011 Report Posted September 17, 2011 (edited) I don't know if anyone remember's Quicksand Motorsports from back in the day, but they had a bumper with headlights mounted on it. Well long story short, they went out of business so I took that idea and tried to apply it to my sundahl bumper. The only difference is I don't have the mounts fabricated onto the bumper, instead im using a set of cheap plastic trail tech frame mounts. My question is do you think it will hold? I don't want to go out riding and come back to camp with two headlights missing. Any thought's and opinions would be helpful. SNT Posted September 19, 2011 Report Posted September 19, 2011 i think they will hold.. if they dont run grip tape in the clamp it shouldnt slide or anything Quote
ban99 Posted September 29, 2011 Report Posted September 29, 2011 I like the look of that, you might want to just weld on some mounting tabs and do away with the tube clamps. Quote

MATprodz. Posted October 12, 2011 Report Posted October 12, 2011 Looks pretty durable, depends on where you ride and how rough it is, but other than that it looks fine to me! If they do happen to fall off though i would just go ahead and weld brackets onto the bumper. Quote
4MiLLDraGSheE Posted October 15, 2011 Report Posted October 15, 2011 Just a little tack weld on each one haha. Looks like it should stay with the clams worst it may rotate but i couldnt see it completly falling off. Very nice i like the look of it. Quote
