banshee cylinder and clutch cover querstions

in the bottom of the cylinders theres a rubber strip for something is it removeable so i can powdercoat my cylinders? also how do i remove the vent that the hose by the water pump goes through on the clutch cover and the seal and bearing for the water pump impeller? if i turn my sandblaster down so not as much sand comes out and stand back and mask off the spots that cant be blasted would it work is i sandblasted the cylinders and clutch cover

use a deep socket to drive the water pump seal and bearing out, use a hammer and hit the vent stem square and it will pop out and use a flat screwdriver to pull out the rubbers on the cylinders.

 

if you use baking soda it wont hurt the metals just remove paint.

i love how fast i get replies on here one more think if the seal looks pretty good should i re use it cause i really want my bike back together ive re done the whole thing and i wana ride it it would be another week if i ordered a seal
